What does “Free-Range” really mean??

“Free-Range refers to chickens being allowed to range freely outdoors where they can eat whatever grass, weed seeds, insects and worms they choose.  This results in more nutritious eggs, and meat for consumers, and more healthy humane conditions for the birds.  Many producers will label their eggs free-range when they are really not.”

Check out this video that explains what egg-carton labels mean.  The “organic” label on eggs may not be quite what you think.  Having complete control over your eggs is smarter, healthier, tastier.
